Installation Information

 The links below point to documentation for the Panopto Recorder and Panopto CourseCast 2.1 installations.

2.1 Recorder Installation - Contains installation instructions for installing the Panopto Recorder on Windows XP or Windows Vista.

 Please choose the correct operating system that you are installing CourseCast 2.1 on. 

**Panopto CourseCast 2.1 Core is only supported on 32 bit Operating Systems. Panopto CourseCast 2.2 Premium is supported on 64 bit**

2008 Web Server Installation - Installation instructions for installing the Web services for CourseCast 2.1 on Windows Server 2008

Data Server Installation - Installation instructions for installing the Data services for CourseCast 2.1 on Windows XP, Vista, Server 2003/2008

CourseCast may be installed on one single server or on separate servers.  Depending on the amount of usage, you may wish to separate the Web services and the Data services so they run on two separate servers.

The Web Server documentation includes installing IIS, WMS, SQL Server Express, and .NET.  If you are installing a combined server with the Web and Data services on the same server, please continue to the Data Server Installation documentation after you have completed the Web Server installation for your particular operating system.
