Launching the Focus Recorder from your Desire 2 Learn Course

You now have the ability to launch the Focus Recorder using the credentials you entered when logging into your D2Lcourse as an Instructor. This allows for a much smoother workflow, and only having to enter your credentials in once

Login to your Desire 2 Learn course

Once logged into your Desire 2 Learn course, enter the Content section. Within the Content area, click on the Panopto External Learning Tool that was created when your course was provisioned.

Launch the Recorder

Once you have been passed through into Panopto, click the "Record" button. Clicking this passes your credentials to the Focus Recorder and launches it, without you ever having to enter your credentials a second time.

Next, you should see the below dialog box, and your Recorder should launch. If your Recorder does not automatically launch, please click the word "here" that is highlighted in red in the screen shot below.

Your Focus Recorder should now be launched, and you should be able to create your Focus Recordings. Please see the documentation for creating a Basic Recording.
