Adding Your RSS Feed to iTunesU

If you have an iTunesU Public Site Manager account, you can add a Panopto RSS feed to your collections by following these simple steps. Keep in mind, you must have Podcasts enabled for the site *and* the session in question.

1.) Copy the RSS panopto link you would like to use.

Login to your Panopto URL as normal, and navigate to the session you would like to use the RSS feed for.

Click on the "gear" image to open the session modal.

Now, click on the outputs tab.

On this tab, click the link entitled "Subscribe to this folder using RSS" (Please note, Chrome add ons can supersede the link display. We recommend using firefox or IE)

In your address tab, copy this link. We will be using this link in iTunesU

2.) Log into your iTunes U public manager account

3.) After logging in, navigate to the "Collections" tab, and click the "plus" image next to "Add Collections"

4.) Now, click the drop down arrow next to "Choose a Feed Source ..."

5.) Select "Provider-Hosted Feed"

6.) Enter your panopto rss URL in the generated field, and click "Add"

7.) Verify that your feed was added. (Note: The new feed may not necessarily appear at the top of your "Collections" list)
